What is a break?
A break is the term we use for the games we run. The term “Break” simply means we open or “Break” a mystery box.

We run series of 40-60 helmets at a time mystery box style, we will mix in jerseys, mini helmets, framed items and entertainment items occasionally but Helmets are the bulk of what we do. . You will see breaks in the group and under the Announcements tab. Each post will give the details of that particular style of break, the format (Teams, AFC/NFC, PYT, Divisions, Etc.) along with how many boxes we will Break and how much per spot. If you want to participate, leave a number or "random" in the comments of any break. As long as the number(s) you ask for are available, you will get that/those spot(s). Once all spots are taken and payments have been sent, a video runner will randomize the list. All 32 teams, 8 divisions, 4 regions, or 24 leftovers in the case of a Pick Your Teams Break will be randomized starting in alphabetical order by mascot using random.org. The random will determine your team(s)/division(s)/region(s). You will be given time to trade teams/divisions/regions with other players in that break. All trades must be confirmed by both parties. We then go live at an announced time. We use a bingo ball machine to see what box number we open. All boxes are numbered, so each bingo ball corresponds with one specific box. Once the box is selected, we break it open and whoever has that team wins the helmet.

Example: You find the post for a Teams break. You leave a comment on the post saying 12. The breaker confirms your spot by putting you in spot 12 in the post. Once the teams are randomized, spot 12 gets the Packers. The bingo roller spits out ball 26. Box 26 is then opened and a Green Bay Packers helmet comes out. You would get that helmet. **See the section at the bottom for tiebreaker rules and team clarification for college/non-NFL helmets

Members are not allowed to delete posts or comments nor are they allowed to edit a comment after it’s posted. If you need to make a correction, just state the correction. This is very important as we need a record of everything that has happened including the mistakes. Habitual offenders of deleting or editing posts, comments, or replies could be banished from the room.
List Randomization
Dice Roll: 2 dice 5 or Higher

Once all payments have been collected, a video runner is tagged. The video runner will then run a screen recording as they run the list through the multi-round giveaway service on Random.org. A dice roll is clicked to determine how many rounds there will be. The dice roll must be 5 or higher. The runner will click the dice roll until a 5 or higher is achieved. He or she will then randomize the list the number of times indicated by the dice roll, and the final round will determine our list of teams/divisions/regions. The list must have the correct number of teams/divisions/regions to be considered valid. Invalid lists will be re-run. On rare occasions, a video will crash or fail to save properly on the runner's device. In the event of a crash, time stamps should be checked on the giveaway platform to ensure consistency with the corresponding comment in the group. Barring timestamp discrepancies or an incomplete run, the result will stand. A breaker CANNOT run a video for their own break (except in the case of live fills where the video is run on screen). If this happens, the video will be re-run.

Tie Breakers in Mystery Breaks
** By default, any helmet listed on the headliners list will go to the person with the team listed. Any player on an NFL helmet goes to the team the helmet represents. If it is a college or generic helmet, then it goes to the player’s current team or longest tenured if they are retired. If the player/person hasn't played in the NFL, the list for that break will be randomized to find a winner. In the case of ripped/multi-team helmets, it goes to the team represented on the location of the helmet where the player signed. We always use https://www.pro-football-reference.com as the reference for the number of years played. If a player has played the same amount of active years with two teams, we will look at games played for those teams. If the number of games is the same, the names of the people with those teams will be randomized to determine who is the winner.
In every break all spots will win. One spot will win the helmet or break item, everyone else will win a base football card at random. At the end of each month please request the base cards and they will be shipped to you! The helmet is free shipping to the lower $48. The cards will be $5.95 for shipping and handling. You can save up to ten cards (base) to get a rookie.
Please let us know if anyone is badgering you guys or adding you to other rooms without your permission. If you are okay with being added that's fine, I'm in a ton of groups. But if you are being added by someone in here and that is not wanted, please let us know. We will clean it up. Thank you!
